Ostara, a vibrant 7-year-old from Monroe, began toe-walking at age 2. Under the care of her dedicated team at Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center, led by registered orthopedic technologist Michele Montecarlo, she received repeated non-surgical casting treatments. Through teamwork and determination, Ostara has completed her treatment and no longer needs chronic casting! She is ready to explore the world on her own two feet.
