🔑 Unlocking the future of AI research in London and Paris We recently hosted two AI Open Houses at our London and Paris offices, connecting PhD students with leading researchers and Directors with our Meta FAIR, GenAI, Monetization, and Monetization GenAI teams. These events sparked discussions on the latest advancements in AI and what it means to be a researcher in this space today. Our panelists shared insights into their groundbreaking work, from developing more efficient algorithms to exploring the ethics of AI. 💡 Our AI Academic partnerships lead, Pierre Louis Xech, also highlighted our PhD programmes in AI. Excited to share updates about a new collaboration that showcases the potential of open source AI models to unlock new creative possibilities! This partnership with artist Ruben Fro, Fisheye Immersive, and the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, using our SegmentAnything2 model, has resulted in a breathtaking work called "Deep Diving". We've also updated SAM to make it more easily accessible to artists and developers everywhere.
