🌍 Creatella Impact | Development Organization was honored to participate in the event hosted by UNDP, South Africa and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) at the UN HQ in New York. The discussion focused on fostering deeper systemic partnerships between financial institutions (FIs) and development institutions (DIs) to mobilize private capital for the geographies and sectors most in need of investment to achieve the SDGs. Karén Vardanyan shared insights on Creatella Impact | Development Organization's work in developing a pipeline of SDG-aligned, investable projects and businesses. He emphasized the importance of de-risking these ventures and preparing them for investment, aligning them more closely with the risk appetite of institutional investors. A distinguished group of representatives from governments, MDBs, IFIs, and financiers engaged in discussions on concrete actions to finance the SDGs through the renewed #FfD agenda. Creatella Impact looks forward to continued collaboration with DIs and FIs to maximize impact investments in emerging markets. 🌍 Today, our Co-Executive Director Karén Vardanyan spoke at the Third PrepCom session for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, organised by  UNDP and ISO - International Organization for Standardization. The panel brought together experts, policymakers, and business leaders at United Nations Headquarters in New York and virtually, to explore how sustainability standards can help businesses contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Karén Vardanyan welcomed standards as valuable for businesses integrating sustainability, measuring impact, and communicating with investors.
