You can download apps and digital content such as books or games from the Google Play Store. Some apps and content have a cost, while others have no charge.
Paid apps and content may have additional benefits, such as fewer or no ads.
If you purchase apps or content, those items will be associated with your Google Account. If you get a new Android device, you can sign in with the same Google Account to access the items you purchased.
To add an accepted payment method to your Google Play account:
- Go to payment methods on Google Play.
- Select Add a payment method.
- Choose the type of payment method you want to add.
- Follow the on-screen steps.
