    To leave CONNOR McDAVID, arguably the best hockey player in the world, WIDE OPEN 20 feet in front of the net, in OVERTIME, for the CHAMPIONSHIP, was a fatal mistake by the USA defense. McDavid could have had lunch, gotten the pass, then scored....

    One might speculate that if Charlie McAvoy was healthy, he would have been on the ice at that point with McDavid out there and done a much better job.

    In any case, USA deserved to lose that game just for that one bone headed mistake. McDavid won't miss in that situation.
