Grok 12+

When I got the review request, I was right in the middle of doing something in the Grok app. I asked Grok how I could import a lot of PDF copies Ham Radio I still have from the 80’s and 90’s. I asked how I could create a model that would answer questions about ham radio. Grok not only gave me the answers of how to do it, but it used examples within its answer that a Ham Radio Operator might use. Like what’s the length of an antenna for 20 meters? Or the using term SWR just like you were talking to a ham radio guy. I don’t know if it’s true, but I kind of feel that it enhances comprehension someway. I wonder if it’s just that I might feel more comfortable with the information because it’s using words I find familiar in the technical topic. I think its use of the slang associated with Ham Radio implies a level of understanding that is simply remarkable. Something tells me we’re going to see Moore‘s law, if we apply it to AI , becoming every six months instead of every 18.

I’ve already put a request in for GrokOS running on a NLP enhanced xPC computer. I’d like to just sit down and see a black screen with Elon‘s new logo on it. Say “good morning Grok” and he would already know what I need. I sit there sipping on a cup of coffee listening to him explain the priorities of the day. It’s a good day, there are no emergencies. I can just sit here for a while and enjoy my coffee.I’m in my happy place.

I was the type of person who basically said I would stay away from AI at all costs. One day a few months back I decided to ask Grok a question and have been a huge fan ever since. Now with the release of Grok three, it’s hard to see any other platform coming close. Of course, the speed and intelligence are amazing, but for me, it’s the ease in prompting. I can ask the question in anyway I want, and insist that the answer be given in the way I want. I can ask that the answer is reduced down to a few sentences, put in bullet points or extended deep dive essay format. Image generation is vastly improved from early versions, and I expect that coding and creation options are going to surpass competitors very shortly. The results don’t feel forced and filtered the way they do with the other big players. This is truly uncensored AI, it doesn’t have bias inherent, and its results. I love the standalone app, but also do use it as part of X. This is a true productivity partner, waiting on your phone for you all day long. I can’t recommend this enough, give it a shot and develop your own prompting style. The results will blow you away.

I am anti AI but have been using Chat GPT for work for the past 2 years or so since it launched. Chat gpt is okay for what I need it for, and I’ve not taken any additional interest in the technology - I think it does more harm than good. Grok completely changed my mindset and I am so excited to utilize this app!! I’ve been using X recently for news and as a less biased free speech platform, and was introduced to grok through it. I saw in a news email yesterday that Grok was available as an application for iPhone, and obviously had to try it out. I immediately noticed a huge difference in the programmings tone, the way it solved problems, and that is has a more human, aware, and considerate perspective. I love that is uses X to help it create its answers, it feels so much more connected to real people’s ideas and perspectives. It deeply solved problems that chat gpt could only scratch the surface of. I’m blown away and deleted my chat gpt app immediately - I can’t wait to see what the future holds now with AI software that is significantly more intelligent and had a genuine regard for humanity.
