  • This week, WSI associates came together for moments filled with celebration, connection, and community! The WSI Asian Network hosted its annual Lunar New Year Celebration, marking the Year of the Snake with a vibrant lion dance performance. The Black Associate Network hosted its signature event, The Black History Month Marketplace. From coast to coast, associates in Brooklyn and San Francisco supported local Black-owned businesses and artisans by shopping from a curated selection of products. Our facilities team opened a brand new breakroom at our Ice House location. Associates celebrated its grand opening and now have a welcoming space to connect with colleagues, enjoy lunch away from their desks, or take a well-deserved wellness break. And, of course, no WSI event would be complete without great food! From tacos and an Asian food truck to soul food inspired by Black History Month, there were delicious options for everyone to enjoy! We look forward to more celebrations at WSI in 2025!

  • Mark & Graham announced today the launch of a new collaboration with the iconic fabric and wallpaper house, Sanderson. The new Sanderson for Mark & Graham collaboration celebrates Sanderson’s quintessentially English floral prints and reimagines them for a collection of products ranging from decorative accessories and handbags to jewelry boxes and pet essentials that are all available for Mark & Graham’s signature personalization.   Founded in 1860, Sanderson has become one of the most renowned interior design and decorating brands worldwide. Since 1924, the English design house has held a Royal Warrant for supplying fabrics, paint, and wallcoverings to the Royal Residences. With its rich history in textiles and wallpapers, Sanderson is highly regarded for their expansive archive dating back to the 19th century. The Mark & Graham design team partnered with Sanderson to select six distinct fabrics from Sanderson’s archives to create the collection. Fans of Sanderson’s archival print and patterns will appreciate the collection’s use of botanical prints, including the Rose & Peony which dates back to 1914 as well as the popular Hollyhocks block print design and the inky Tattershall print. "At Mark & Graham, we collaborate with partners that share our passion for timeless design and exceptional craftsmanship,” said Kate Lesher, Mark & Graham Senior Vice President. “The Sanderson for Mark & Graham collection combines exquisite patterns and rich history, with our love for both elegant and classic personalization.”    “It was such a pleasure to dive into our archive for this collection, bringing feminine florals and chintzes to these pieces in colorways that take a fresh perspective on iconic Sanderson designs. Treasures from our archive have become pieces to cherish and treasure at home.” Claire Vallis, Sanderson Design Director.   For more information on Sanderson for Mark & Graham, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gihWVXXE. • Last week, 80 WSI associates participated in a beach cleanup at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, CA. In partnership with the San Francisco Surfrider Foundation, we cleaned up 110 lbs of trash!  We want to give a special shout-out to WSI Green Squad, our associate-led volunteer group that works to help us become a more sustainable organization by educating, inspiring, and empowering individuals to get involved. By cleaning up our local beach, associates across all WSI brands helped raise awareness about plastic pollution and its toxic environmental impact. We are proud to have played a small part in protecting our oceans, waves, and beaches! #WSI #SurfriderFoundation #BeachCleanup

It was the perfect way to jumpstart our wellness journey this year while adding some high-energy fun to the workplace. A huge thanks to the team at Barry's and our instructor, Stephen Selnick, for bringing the heat, and to everyone who showed up and brought their A-game. Here's to setting the tone for a strong, balanced, and healthy year ahead!

  • Pottery Barn has announced a new collaboration with the revered home furnishings company, Kravet. The prints and patterns Kravet is known for, which were previously only available to the design trade, have been translated into an inspiring collection of tabletop, bedding, pillows, wall and window coverings, and decorative accessories.  To create the collaboration, the Kravet and Pottery Barn design teams partnered closely on hand-selecting prints from the archive. These prints were recolored and reimagined to develop new fabrications, applications, and products. The resulting assortment of print and pattern - the Garden Floral, Arboretum, Heirloom Damask, Ikat, Petite Floral, Medallion, and Meadow Stripe - celebrates Kravet’s mastery of textile design as seen through the inimitable lens of Pottery Barn’s timeless aesthetic. These designs can be found throughout the collection on products intended to bring the coveted interior designer touch to the Pottery Barn customer. Several pieces in the collection also feature additional designer details like French knots and embroidery. “We’re so proud of the one-of-a-kind pieces from the new Kravet and Pottery Barn collection,” says Pottery Barn President Monica Bhargava. “This collection reinterprets their heirloom decorator prints in a way that feels fresh, timeless, and beautifully suited for our customer’s home.”  "The Kravet family has had the privilege of serving the design trade for many decades, and we’re now thrilled to partner with Pottery Barn to bring consumers exclusive pieces for their home inspired by our archives,” says Cary Kravet, President and CEO, Kravet LLC. “Pottery Barn’s exceptional expertise, as well as their commitment to quality and craftsmanship made reimagining our prints and patterns into new categories an exciting and rewarding journey.” The Kravet for Pottery Barn collection is available now in all stores, and online at potterybarn.com/kravet.
