In recent weeks, 2 separate shipments of our IP1 cells have been shipped to partners for testing and validation. IP1 features EnPower’s multilayer electrode technology. This makes IP1 a great fit for industries and customers that require energy density, power, and fast charging while maintain optimal operating temperature and offering excellent cycle life. The EnPower team again delivered on our “electrode first” strategy. We’ve successfully executed a production run of our multi-layer anode. This highly engineered simultaneously coated multi-layer anode addresses the trade-off between energy and power. EnPower designs and manufacturers multilayer electrodes with strategic porosity, tortuosity, and other profiles to facilitate rapid ion transport through the thickness of electrodes. This anode was fully engineered and manufactured in our Indianapolis facility. It marks a monumental achievement for not only EnPower but the domestic manufacturing of electrodes and high performing lithium-ion batteries.
