[pt-br] Um projeto revolucionário na intersecção entre tecnologia, arte e justiça climática Há alguns anos, demos vida a uma iniciativa ousada no Mozilla Festival, usando narrativas criativas para explicar a conexão entre tecnologia e a crise climática em linguagem acessível ao mundo. Esse ano, tivemos a honra de apresentar nosso projeto na Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID), em Bangkok. Desenvolvemos a narrativa de uma telenovela de ficção científica como ferramenta de educação crítica, misturando dramaturgia popular, futurismos ancestrais e tecnologia aberta. Cada capítulo revela, de forma lúdica e provocativa, como sistemas opressivos — do colonialismo digital ao extrativismo — aceleram colapsos socioambientais. Mas também apontamos caminhos: o que está acontecendo, quem está resistindo e como reinventar futuros possíveis, através de personagens que confrontam dilemas éticos em cenários distópicos e utópicos. ---- [esp] Un proyecto revolucionario en la intersección entre tecnología, arte y justicia climática Hace algunos años, dimos vida a una iniciativa audaz en el Mozilla Festival, utilizando narrativas creativas para explicar la conexión entre la tecnología y la crisis climática en un lenguaje accesible para el mundo. Este año, tuvimos el honor de presentar nuestro proyecto en la Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID), en Bangkok. Desarrollamos la narrativa de una telenovela de ciencia ficción como herramienta de educación crítica, combinando dramaturgia popular, futurismos ancestrales y tecnología abierta. Cada capítulo revela, de manera lúdica y provocativa, cómo sistemas opresivos —desde el colonialismo digital hasta el extractivismo— aceleran los colapsos socioambientales. Pero también señalamos caminos: qué está sucediendo, quiénes están resistiendo y cómo reinventar futuros posibles, a través de personajes diversos que enfrentan dilemas éticos en escenarios distópicos y utópicos. ----------- [eng] A Revolutionary Project at the Intersection of Technology, Art, and Climate Justice A few years ago, we brought to life a bold initiative at the Mozilla Festival, using creative narratives to explain the connection between technology and the climate crisis in a language accessible to the world. This year, we had the honor of presenting our project at the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) in Bangkok. We developed the narrative of a sci-fi telenovela as a tool for critical education, blending popular dramaturgy, ancestral futurisms, and open technology. Each chapter reveals, playfully and provocatively, how oppressive systems — from digital colonialism to extractivism — accelerate socio-environmental collapses. But we also point to solutions: what is happening, who is resisting, and how to reinvent possible futures, through diverse characters confronting ethical dilemmas in dystopian and utopian scenarios. #HackerCulture #ClimateJustice #FictionAsResistance
