Find your device serial number

Your Google device has a unique ID number or serial number. Your Pixel Phone and Pixel Watch have an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number.

Find your phone's IMEI number

To find your phone's IMEI number:

Get info about your phone
  • Check your phone's Settings app.
    1. Tap About phone.
    2. Scroll down until you find "IMEI."

    1. At the top left, tap your phone.
    2. Tap the information icon .
      • Your IMEI appears under your phone's name.

To give you an eSIM so you can use Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), your carrier may ask for your phone’s IMEI.

A dual SIM phone has one IMEI number for each slot, IMEI 1 and IMEI 2.

To find your IMEI 2:

  1. Turn on DSDS.
  2. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  3. Tap About phone.
  4. Find "IMEI (SIM slot 2)."
Find your Chromecast serial number

To find your Chromecast's serial number, you can check:

  • The back of your Chromecast.
  • The device box.
    • Find “S/N” and the number that follows it.
  • Your Chromecast’s on-screen settings.
    1. At the top right of your TV screen, select All settings .
    2. Select System and then About and then Status and then Serial Number.

The Chromecast Voice Remote's 14-character serial number is under the batteries.

Find your Google TV Streamer serial number

To find your Google TV Streamer’s serial number, you can check:

  • The bottom of your Google TV Streamer.
  • Your Google TV Streamer’s on-screen settings.
  1. At the top right of your TV screen, select All settings .
  2. Select System and then About and then Status and then Serial Number.

The Google TV Streamer Voice Remote’s 14-character serial number is under the batteries.

Find your Google Nest speaker or display serial number

Google Home

  • The Google Home device's 10-digit alphanumeric serial number is on the bottom of the device in the center.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Home packaging near the barcodes.

Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen)

  • The Google Nest Mini device's 14-digit alphanumeric serial number is on the bottom of the device on the outer edge.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Nest Mini packaging near the barcodes.

Google Home Mini (1st Gen)

  • The Google Home Mini device's 10-digit alphanumeric serial number is on the bottom of the device on the outer edge.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Home Mini packaging near the barcodes.

Google Home Max

  • The serial number is etched into the back of the device, below the Google "G" logo.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Home Max packaging near the barcodes.

Google Nest Audio

  • The Google Nest Audio device's 14-digit alphanumeric serial number is on the bottom of the device on the outer edge.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Nest Audio packaging, near the bar codes.

Google Nest Hub

  • The serial number is etched into the bottom of the device's stand, below the Google "G" logo.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Nest Hub packaging near the barcodes.

Google Nest Hub Max

  • The serial number is etched into the bottom of the device's stand, below the Google "G" logo.
  • The serial number is also listed on a sticker on the Google Nest Hub Max packaging near the barcodes.
Find your Nest Wifi Pro, Nest Wifi, or Google Wifi serial number

In the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Device information.

Nest Wifi Pro

The Nest Wifi Pro's 14-character serial number is at the bottom of the device on the outer edge, right side of the Quick Response (QR) code.

Google Wifi

The Google Wifi’s 14-character alphanumeric serial number is at the bottom of the device below the Setup code, right side of the QR code.

Google Nest Wifi router

The Google Nest Wifi router's 14-character alphanumeric serial number is at the bottom of the device, left side of the QR code.

The Nest Wifi point’s 14-character alphanumeric serial number is at the bottom of the device, right side of the "G" logo.

Find your Nest Thermostat and Nest Temperature Sensor serial number

To find the serial number, you can:

The serial number for the Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd gen) is at the back of the sensor when you remove the battery cover.

In the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Device information.

Find your Nest Camera or Nest Doorbell serial number

In the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Device information.

Find your Nest x Yale Lock and Nest Connect serial number

Nest x Yale Lock

On the Device

  1. Remove the battery cover.
    • Use the battery cover key that came with your Nest × Yale Lock.
  2. Insert the key into the hole above the battery compartment.
  3. Press down firmly on the key.
  4. Continue to press the key, then grip the top of the cover and pull it off.
  5. Check the 11-character alphanumeric serial number inside the battery compartment.

Optional: If you do not have your Nest x Yale Lock key you can also use:

  • A small allen wrench
  • A small hex wrench
  • A thumbtack

In the Google Home app

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  4. Tap Settings and then Technical information.

Nest Connect

Check the back of your Connect above the plug for the 16-character serial number.

Find your Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock serial number

The Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock are available to buy as:

  • Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock bundle
  • Pixel Tablet only
  • Charging Speaker Dock only

Important: If you bought a Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock bundle, use the bundle serial number.

Pixel Tablet & Charging Speaker Dock bundle

To find your Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock bundle serial number, search for:

  • Your shipping confirmation email.
  • Your "Order Details" page that can be located in your Order history.
  • The device box that includes the Pixel Tablet and Charging Speaker Dock.

Pixel Tablet only

To find your Pixel Tablet serial number:

In your Settings app

  1. Open your tablet’s Settings app.
  2. Select About Tablet and then Model.
  3. Check under "Serial number."

On your physical tablet

The serial number is engraved on the back of the tablet below the Google logo and pins.

Charging Speaker Dock only

To find your Charging Speaker Dock serial number:

In your Settings app

  1. After you set up Hub Mode, open your tablet's Settings app.
  2. Select Hub Mode and then Dock settings.
  3. Check under "Serial number."

On your Charging Speaker Dock

The serial number is engraved on the bottom of the Charging Speaker Dock, next to the reset button.

Find your Pixel Watch IMEI and serial number

IMEI and serial numbers are laser-etched at the watch band connectors. Pixel Watch LTE has serial numbers on one side and IMEI on the other. Pixel Watch Wi-Fi will only have serial numbers.

On your physical Watch

  1. Detach your watch bands.
  2. Find the IMEI and serial numbers laser-etched where the watch bands are connected to the aluminum case.

In your Watch settings

  1. On Google Pixel Watch, swipe down and then tap Settings .
  2. Tap System and then About.
  3. Swipe down to find your IMEI and serial numbers.

Tip: For certain devices, to find your serial number and start a return or repair, go to Warranty Helper.

Find your Pixel Buds serial number

Pixel Buds, Pixel Buds A-Series, Pixel Buds Pro, and Pixel Buds Pro 2

Each earbud has its own serial number separate from the charging case serial number.

In your phone settings

When the Pixel Buds are successfully connected to your phone, you’ll find the serial numbers of the earbuds and charging case in the Pixel Buds app:

  1. Open the Pixel Buds app .
  2. Tap Settings Settings icon next to your buds’ name and then More settings and then About.
  3. Find the serial numbers for each earbud and case.

From the Pixel Buds app (for Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Buds Pro 2)

  1. Open the Pixel Buds app .
  2. At the bottom, tap More settings and then About.
  3. Find the serial numbers of each earbud and the charging case.

On your Buds

The 14-character alphanumeric serial number is inside the case.

Pixel Buds (Gen 1)

The serial number on the box is the same as on the left earbud. The serial number shown in the Google Assistant app is for the charging case.

On your Buds

The 10-character alphanumeric serial number is on your left earbud. It’s the same serial number shown on the packaging with the sticker under the bar code or safety icons.

Find your Fitbit serial number

Ace 3

Remove the band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number.
  1. Hold the tracker with the screen facing you.
  2. Gently push the top of the tracker through the back opening in the band.

The serial number is on the bottom of the device.

Charge 5

Remove the bottom band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number.
  1. Turn over your tracker and find the band latches.
  2. To release the latch, use your fingernail to press the flat button toward the band.
  3. Gently pull the band away from the tracker to release it. The serial number is located inside the devices near where the band connects.
  4. To reattach the band, press it into the end of the tracker until you hear a click and it snaps into place.

Charge 6

Remove the bottom band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number.
  1. Turn over your tracker and find the band latches.
  2. To release the latch, use your fingernail to press the flat button toward the band.
  3. Gently pull the bottom band away from the tracker to release it. The serial number is located inside the device near where the band connects.
  4. To reattach the band, press it into the end of the tracker until you hear a click and it snaps into place.

Inspire 3

Remove the top band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number. 

  1. Turn over your tracker and find the quick-release lever.
  2. While pressing the quick-release lever inward, gently pull the band away from the tracker to release it. The serial number is located inside the device near where the band connects.
  3. To reattach the band, slide the pin (the side opposite the quick-release lever) into the notch on the tracker. While pressing the quick-release lever inward, slide the other end of the band into place. When both ends of the pin are inserted, release the quick-release lever.

Luxe

Remove the bottom band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number. 

  1. Turn over your tracker and find the band latches.
  2. To release the latch, use your fingernail to press the flat button toward the band.
  3. Gently pull the band away from the tracker to release it. The serial number is located inside the device near where the band connects.
  4. To reattach the band, press it into the end of the tracker until you hear a click and it snaps into place.

Sense 2 and Versa 4

Remove the top band from your Fitbit device to find the serial number.

  1. Turn over your watch and find the band latches.
  2. To release the latch, slide the flat button toward the band.
  3. Gently pull the band away from the watch to release it. The serial number is located inside the device near where the band connects.
  4. To reattach the band, press it into the end of the watch until you feel it snap into place.

Aria Air

Gently turn your scale over. The serial number is at the top of the label next to the battery door (above the barcode).

Find your Fitbit Ace LTE serial number

In your watch settings

  1. Press and hold the top button and then scroll down and then tap Settings .
  2. Tap System and then About.
  3. Swipe down to find your serial numbers.

On your physical watch

  1. Remove the band from the top bar.
  2. Find the serial numbers etched inside the top band bar.

​In the Ace app

  1. Open the Fitbit Ace app .
  2. On your child’s card, tap Settings and then Tap Device.
  3. The serial number will be listed at the bottom of the list. Tapping on the number will immediately copy it.
