Choose albums to display on your photo frames

You can use Google Photos to display albums in a slideshow on the ambient or idle screen of eligible devices. This includes:

• Smart TVs
• Tablets
• Fridges
• Select photo frames
• Google TV
• Android TV
• Chromecast
• Pixel Tablet
• Nest Hub
• Nest Hub Max

Tips:

• This feature isn’t available on all devices or in all countries and regions.
• Certain photos may not appear, based on their source or how they were captured. For example, some third-party app content and screenshots may be filtered.

1. On your Android device, open the Google Photos app .
2. At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
3. Tap Google Photos settings Apps & devices Photo frames.
   • If you have a device set up, select the one you'd like to add photos to.
   • If you don't have a device available, you need to set one up to display your photos. Learn how to connect your device to your Google Account.
4. Next to the albums you want your device to display, tap Add .

You can select people and pets to display on your device. A new album is created in Google Photos and new photos of the selected people and pets are automatically added. Learn how to label your face group.

Tip: If you can’t find people or pets:

• The feature isn’t available in your geographic region.
• You turned Face Groups off in settings. Learn how to turn on Face Groups.
• No face groups have been created.

Photos automatically curates and updates a “best of” album from your Photos library.

You can choose to display photos you’ve marked as favorite.
