Been playing this game since 2015 and should have reviewed then. Very proper representation of a rogue styled game. I feel like it's on the verge of true rogue and not a roguelite. I enjoy the sound and graphics. Unfortunately I can no longer launch it on my one plus 6t. Anyone have a similar issue? Also this would be a great game to have on steam!

Great 8 bit graphics & music. Unlockable "boosts" to make the game play differently but sadly that's where the depth ends. No "wait" option ensures you will have no choice but to take unnecessary damage. Too many rooms repeat each playthrough proving it's not actually procedurally-generated but instead using pre-designed rooms that are just placed in a different order each time. Procedurally generated is a must for a roguelike. Caves Roguelike, Space Grunts or Red Rogue are much better alternatives.

Warrior Heart has fantastic retro music and pixel art. Still, it feels unfinished. There is no wait turn button. Also no inventory. I love the style of the game, needs more though.
