I purchased a new device and moved all of my apps over to it. McDonald's is the only app that I've had an issue with. I've tried repeatedly to sign in and activate it on my new device. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing works. Not sure what the issue is, but there are thousands of rewards points that I can no longer access.

The original review from 5 years ago seems as though not much has changed. A few of the features were added, but this app is really bad. I went to pickup lunch and the order was supposed to have 5 things and it had 1. I spent almost 30 min in the drive thru and the order wasn't close. I left this review 5 years ago. This app is having problems with check in this morning. It also needs to have an option to remember the location I order from and default to that.

There's always something going on with the app. For nearly the last week. I have not been able to place orders through the app. When I get to the review and checkout screen I get an error saying sorry something is wrong on our end order at the store. The problem is they've changed the deals so that you can only order them through the app. So I feel like it's pretty scammy that you have deals. They're only able to be used through mobile ordering on the app but you can't order through the app.

you should always have a smooth app experience, Tasha. in order to protect your rewards, devices are needed at the time of pickup for verification. for most problems, a simple delete and reinstall of the app works best. if not, let us know here: https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/feedback.html
